Advancing AI Research Globally

AI Access Foundation is a nonprofit public charity, incorporated in June 1993, whose purpose is to facilitate the dissemination of scientific results in artificial intelligence.

about

AI Access Foundation is the publisher of Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research (JAIR), one of the leading AI Journals.  JAIR  covers all areas of artificial intelligence, publishing refereed research articles, survey articles, and technical notes. JAIR was established in 1993, and was perhaps the first open access scientific journal on the Web. Since it began publication in 1993, JAIR has had a major impact on the field, and has been continuously ranked as one of the top journals covering AI.

Over the years AI Access Foundation has also supported other projects, including AI Access Books, which provided access to proceedings, monographs and collected works, and AI Resources, a community-run directory of open source software and open access.  While these projects are no longer active, we are happy to consider new activities to support the AI research community.
